Pretty excited in my sewing room this morning. I've come up with an idea for JuneBillie's replacement card. I chose to stay with a Maine theme. Hopefully I'll get it completed and turned into the P O today.

Whigrose (Deb) I can just imagine how pretty it will be if it's anything like the one you showed us.

    I love the Austrian Crystals.

I hope everyone joins for September. Just imagine all the fun with the theme.

Whigrose, I hope you are having fun in the sewing room today. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Oh my goodness, this sewing room is such a disaster. You would think I was in the throes of making quilts for everyone on the street

JuneBillie, my dear friend, your replacement card is on its way. This little guy can fly anywhere from 48-55 miles per hour but needs to stop for nourishment along the way. Hopefully you will receive him before the week is out.

    Hi all,
Dee7683, your postcard from cuppy definitely has a warm breeze in the air. It's wonderful.

I have been in touch with JuneBillie and she says iit is fine to post a pic of her replacement pc I made for her today. Hopefully, she will get this one soon.

For those of you not familiar with this ocean bird, it is a Puffin. Off the coast east of Maine, in the Muscongus Bay area, there is an island called Eastern Egg Rock. During June, the Puffin eggs hatch and the island is just full of life. It is a huge tourist boat trip attraction. The birds are safe though, since landing on the island is not permitted during sea bird breeding season April 1 to August 31.

    Enjoy, Susan.

Cute puffin postcard Deb. That's the second Bird name I've learned in this swap (lorikeet was first). Just goes to show these swaps are educational too!
I wondered if we would see a flaming on this group, love it!
