Krystyna, youre a nut.LOL Never thought of the food saver for packing fabrics. Thanks for the idea will def. try it. You know that family dollar and a couple of other places are now selling decorative packing tape, was eyeballing some the other day. And who wouldnt love a bublle wrap pincushion, would def. make putting your pins away a creative effort.LOL

Count me in, thought I would miss this one. Computer has been down and I was getting worried about the part getting here on time. Sending PM in a few.

Ooooo. And don't forget you can always reverse the hose on your high powered shop vac to suck out all the air. Just don't forget to use a lot of tape to prevent possible explosions. Postal service frowns on that happening

Heehee, cool beans Vanogay

Krystyna: You are so silly -- btw, I didn't think of squishing fabric in a food saver. hahaha!

LOL K you REALLY need to go take a dip in the sea to cool off
your getting a little (tongue in cheek here,,ummm wacky?).

But we love you anyways.

To all those who are NEW to the secret pal swaps, you MUST
be very very very careful there are several who will TRY to get
you to give them the name of your sp. DON'T fall for their traps.

Yeah yeah yeah I know I am a spoil sport for warning the newbie's
but somebody needs to protect them.

Now I have a side line question to ask you all.

What if any magazine subscriptions do you have? Are any of you
members of the QCA (Quilter' Club of America) or AQS (American
Quilter's Society)?

I received 3 of my subscription magazines in the mail yesterday
American Quilter, Quiltmaker, and McCall's Quilting.

That got me to thinking about just how many magazines do I have
subscriptions to anyways. So tonight I sat down to TRY and figure
that out. I am shocked (or amazed?) to say that I have enough that
I needed to create a spreadsheet to keep track of them along with
my login/password info and exp. dates.

All of these subscriptions was ordered/paid back in the days when
I was work 1 full time job and 4 part time jobs (one day a week).
When I had $300+ per month to spend on my "hobby" the only
subscriptions I will TRY to keep after these all expire are the QCA
and Quilter's World digital (because I can download these and save
to my computer).

I never realized just how horrible I am to "think" I needed all
of these. But you know what they say about hindsight.

Thinking about pulling the Quilter's World magazine out and start
sending them to my sp's IF they would want them. I have about
5-6 years worth.

Off Topic: Olympic opening ceremony were AA Amazing and Awesome.

Now back on topic, Hand dyed fabric sounds great. What a unique item. I'm game to be a guinea pig for your newbie hand dying effort.
It's great to get a magazine in the sp package. Newbie alert be sure to say yes to the question about receiving gently used items so Louise knows you would like one too.

No, silly! I didn't send my pal a fish.

Krystyna you know you did, not this big but it was a fish.

I am in for this month. Should be fun and what size foodsaver do you think works the best I had one at one time. I think honestly it was a knock off model and I didn't like how it worked. It seemed like it never sealed properly but with the costs of everything I thought about getting another one to buy big packs and freeze to save.

Krystyna you're too much! I laughed at the bubble pincushion, what a great idea! Just hear it pop everytime you put a pin in it! Hilarious! At work this morning so I don't have much time here and the weather is already spiking hot! Everyone have a great Saturday!
