Watching Libster make all her blocks now struck me as a wise move. All the fabric is out, and when the made blocks are returned to you it’s ready to be put together! Thank you for the motivation, Libster. I need all the help I can get!

This is another Inklingo, Starry Path.
I don’t think my starch is dry! Oops.

    Love your Starry Path, GramE.

Libster, are you going to also back and machine quilt those blocks you made? Since you are doing QAYG, you could.

Sure is fun looking at all the blocks being made, I'm looking forward to getting the fabric and having fun.

In the meantime, I got one set of blocks put together. I wanted to do something other than the more traditional sash setting, and decided to use the JK Boho Heart setting idea. Worked out as I had room for 16 blocks and had 17 - the "extra" was made so that I could easily take it apart and use the components where filler was needed. The first pic is the layout, the second is the 12.5" blocks along with all the fillers I made, the third is the floppy. Ended up doing quite a bit of ripping as I got 2\3 way down and realized I'd grown an 1" in width. This was done with lots and lots of partial seams, but I like what I've ended up with. This group was called :"Pumpkins" and I think it was swap 25, 2 month group. Now to figure something out for some of the other block sets.

I'm waiting for the backing fabric to get here and I will go ahead and cut it and back the blocks I have made.

Oh Macy Baby that is beautiful. What a great idea for an engagement quilt. Is this your creation? Oh I see the credit mentioned when I went back to loook again. The black and white makes the colors pop so well!

FYI, I opened up a couple of very old Booms in the Gallery if anyone really wants a blast from the past. You can see Booms 14 and 15.
