What a horrible act, Hav! I'm so sad for your son and hope his back heals up perfectly, as well as any other injury. Mostly, that he heals from the emotional injury. As for those "boys" they deserve to be locked up! I hope and pray they are found and brought to justice swiftly. Thoughts and prayers coming your way!

Yes, I agree that too many are not "parenting" their kids!

Oh my goodness! That is such a horrible thing to happen, Hav4boys! I'll pray that your son heals quickly. And that the kids are found and taught a lesson!

Sewbizgirl, thank you for the double star block. I love it!

Hav, I'm in shock. I care for you and son. Virtual hugs and tears.

I got one block sewn this afternoon, Arbor Window from Quilters Cache for Klaws. I have another block cut out, but I don't think I'll get more sewing today. I envy those of you who get hours to sew at a time.

NZQ, I love this block for Klaws, the way you fussy cut so that the pink is in the center. So pretty.
I always appreciate days where I can sew for hours. Doesn’t happen often enough.

I had some fun today and got three more blocks done. The first block, an Ohio Star, is for MJP Encinitas. The second block for JayneW and the third, also a star, for Macybaby. I am very happy with how these all came out and hope the recipients like them too.

That's a beautiful block, NZQ. Your placement of color is perfect.
Please don't envy us our time to sew all day. Your little ones will be grown and gone before you blink an eye. Ours already are, which is why we have the time to sew. But yours is the better part. Definitely!

I have been watching the tie-dye blocks that are posted for Hav, and it looks like mine is the only one using white instead of black. So today I took it apart and remade it with black. I know Janice will change it out for me in the gallery when she gets time.

Lovely blocks today, Anna. I really like the fabric you got to work with from MJP. All three blocks are so colorful and dynamic.

That is such a pretty block sewbizgirl. I think it shines even more in the tie dye and black version. I love it.
