Good Monday morning. There are several packages of completed blocks on their way. Two are scheduled to arrive today. Anyone else wanting to ship, please go ahead and do so but remember to send me the tracking number please.

SBG, I switched out your tie dye block pic. It’s beautiful.

Finally my scrappy quilt is nearly done. It’s in two pieces now so one more long seam and I’ll take a pic. I’m ready to move onto something else. Probably my Yellow/gold Boom 21 blocks.

hope we get an update from Hav on her son. Have a good week.

Wow, this block is so soothing. I love it and the colors are perfect.

Please don't envy us our time to sew all day. Your little ones will be grown and gone before you blink an eye. Ours already are, which is why we have the time to sew. But yours is the better part. Definitely!

I have been watching the tie-dye blocks that are posted for Hav, and it looks like mine is the only one using white instead of black. So today I took it apart and remade it with black. I know Janice will change it out for me in the gallery when she gets time.
Thank you. My note was typed by my son and at the time I was going back and forth on white and/or black. Did not realise it went out with both but I loved your block, white or black. It's an awesome block.

No words to describe how I feel about what has happened to my son. He is home and moving slowly. His entire body is covered in bruises from being kicked. He has to wear a brace for the fractured spine when he is up moving around. His spirits are good and he is back to cracking jokes. He is not angry and says they must have thought he was someone else.

I attached some pictures. They pulled him down by his hair. He had been growing his hair for almost two years. He loves the mullet. While pulling him down, they ripped 2/3 of his hair out of the back of his head. His head was shaved so they could see the damage.

Austin's best friend's dad is the DA for Sacramento County. This happened in the next city, which is Placer County. His dad has already called the Placer DA to make sure this does not get swept under the rug. The Rocklin PD has been fantastic. They have begun rounding up the boys, ages 16-20.

What a handsome son, even despite the horrendous bruises. He is so generous of spirit to say, “maybe they thought I was someone else.” 16-20 YOs need to be tried as adults! Scary to think how many youth are growing up into monsters with no love or compassion in their hearts…. So glad your son isn’t hurt worse. May he heal quickly.

Hav4, I will keep your son in my prayers. Those pictures are heartbreaking. Those boys need to pay for what they've done to him.

Kathy seeing him with his injuries makes me cry. He has such sweet face even with all the injuries. So sorry this happened to him.
