Terriamn, How’s the finger doing? Please let us know what you think of the gloves after you’ve tried them.

Today I have the day off! I love the family but I need a break. Hope to finish putting together another scrappy flimsy. One day I’ll actually have to start quilting them all.

Two more packages are scheduled for delivery today. Woo hoo. Getting close to finishing up the swap!

Hope you all have a terrific weekend.

Lstew - love your blocks. I always had storm at sea on my bucket list. Then one of the swaps - I decided to make a block for someone - afterwards I decided I didn't want to do it x amount of times and it went off the bucket list. Now I just ohh and ahh over everyone else
gloves would be great IF I cut myself when doing a bunch of cutting at one time. I usually nik myself when rushing to trim one thing - and then wouldn't put on gloves for that one little thing! But please let us know - you can be the glove tester!

Terri, I guarantee you will carefully watch for your "holding" hand every time you go to cut now. I cut my left pointer finger once to the bone at the first knuckle with my rotary cutter. That was about 10 years ago, and I still remember how bad it hurt and how much it bled. I hope you heal quickly, and the pain lessens fast. ((((((Hugs))))))

I still shudder every time I even think of my finger and cutting it and yes I was just cutting off the salvage on the backing for kitty crate donation. Just plain wasn’t thinking.

Finger hurts but thankfully no longer throbbing. I’m sure it’s going to hurt for quite a while. One of the ruler guards and the gloves arrived today but finger will have to wait a week to try the gloves. By then I should be able to use knuckle bandaids instead of all the wrap on it now. Doc told me I was lucky that the bone wasn’t involved Libster

Janice glad you are having a day of rest. Enjoy

One more package to go! I’ll wrap up the sorting and shipping as soon as I can after receiving it but it might take a couple of days as I’m back to watching Charlie next week. We’ll see what I can do when it gets here!
