I've been off my computer for a few days because I've been at the Paducah Quilt Week! Anyone else go? It was so fabulous.

Terri, oh no. You know I'm the queen of cutting off finger tips. Hope the pain stops soon and you heal up fast. I did get some gloves, but they are just some cheap ones from Home Depot. They are knit but the palm side, plus fingertips, have been "dipped" in some kind of rubber. I only wear the left one because I hold the cutter in my right hand. That is, if I remember to put it on! It lays on my table, and if I am going to do a bunch of cutting or trimming, I put it on.

Lstew, beautiful blocks! I love the Milky Way block you made for me. One day I might like to do a whole quilt of those. It will spin!

Can't wait to get our blocks back! It's going to be so much fun to put together the quilts.

Let’s hope USPS is doing better.

    Sewbiz was Paducah wonderful

I actually sewed a bit yesterday, at first I was going to use a scissors but was brave and cautiously used the cutter.

Lstew, love my block. I am looking forward to receiving all of my blocks. My blocks that I made have already arrived in North Carolina, but I did not have a chance to post pictures of the last two. These are for Klaws and Macybaby. I also added the Depression Block that I make for each boom and my virtual quilt of the blocks I made.

The last package came in today and I hope to ship by Thursday. For those in both groups, I cannot get the blocks into a single padded envelope so I will be moving up to a medium box. Everyone has sent me enough for that scenario. Hav, your blocks will be going in a large box.

I need to confirm several addresses. Bibliostone, Terriamn and Petthefabric be looking for an email from me this even ing.

    Bibliostone, love your blocks!

Janice, I don't know how you organize and keep this swap so smooth, but thank you! So exciting that we will be getting our blocks soon! I have an idea for a fun, different layout for my blocks. I'm going to see how it goes before I share it though.

Bibliostone, what a wonderful idea to put together a virtual quilt!

NZQ, you are welcome! And it's just experience and not letting things get too far behind when it comes to the swaps.
