I started playing with my bin of candies this week. I need a fun and easy project as a stress relief during all this world chaos. I'm making Impressionist Wreaths from the Quilted Twins free patterns. I love the variety of fabrics I am able to use!

I have been churning out a lot of finishes with my 2.5's in my stash. I need to take a little break. Will likely get inspired again when my birthday treats start arriving.

Went to my mail box today and was surprised at all the envelopes. Then with a Homer Simpson Duh I remembered.....Birthday Surprises are beginning to arrive.

September birthdays going into the mail today! Hope all are well - my air conditioner broke Friday, Saturday's repairman gave us the bad news and now just waiting on the second quote for a new system. Of course it had to happen right before the biggest heat wave of the summer - with heat indices we will be over 100 each day. Thank goodness our next door neighbor lent us a window unit for our bedroom!
