A true finish today. This quilt just needed the binding. All from stash including the batting. I used 430 of my 2.5". This quilt is Christmas gift for a nephew. The pattern is from the QB Mystery Train series, #18. Love the pattern and have used it several times. A terrific scrap buster!

I got the top done for our mystery quilt. Used up the light candies. I need to remember to watch carefully when switching machines during make a quilt. Really showed up when I was squaring things up!

Travelinggramma, Good use of all of those light squares. Like the dark sashing between sections. It is nice to see another version. Now, on to the layering and quilting of our quilts, right?.

Lovely quilts!

Thought you might like to see my progress on the quilt I shared with you the other day. Mine are 2" squares, tho the pattern was written for 2.5". Either will work.

I really like your light fabric choices, Travelinggrandma! It makes it look soft and so pretty!

SBG, your quilt is looking great!

Woozers! You are making good progress. Looks to be about half finished, then that scrappy border. I just looked at the original picture again and I am thinking of making it with all one color way, perhaps blue which I have in abundance. Still thinking it through.

Default Finished Donation Quilt

Another finish for this week. I have lots of "quilts in progress", so I am trying to get them out of progress and into the finished pile.
Had to cut some 2.5's to finish this but all components were from stash.

Hello everyone,

I just sent the September birthday addresses. Please let me know if I missed you.

Hope everyone is enjoy the beautiful weather, (at least here in Michigan we have beautiful weather)

Also lost my job in March because of Covid but I am now working at a new job ( can't remember if I told all of you) I am working for a company about 5 minutes from my house doing their bookkeeping. So far I am loving it. I have been there almost a month now, just part-time. Maybe it would become full time at sometime.

now off to the last night of the Democratic convention.

Have a nice night

Barb
