I am doing Pat Sloan's Traffic Jam. It is really fast and easy. I will finish the top tomorrow and post a photo of progress. So easy! I see a number of these in my future. They make a really quick baby quilt, which is what I am doing with some reproduction prints. Here is the link to the free pattern and you can go to here website and blog if you want more direction and to see some of the beautiful variations that have been made with this simple pattern.

Here's the QB BD Swap '20-'21 Project for your consideration. I purchased the pattern and finished a flimsy already so you can see how easy this pattern is.

The tutorial is listed under the picture with an arrow in the middle to click on to view.
The "X" block is a 4 1/2" square background fabric. Two 2 1/2" squres are pieced into opposite corners then the selvage is trimmed away.
The other block is 4X4 2 1/2" squares (four per row).

The Upload button is missing right now. I have multiple pics of mine. I'll post them when I return from California.
Have fun with this quilt!
hugs,
dj

Has anyone else done this one? I love Macybaby’s color wash effect, but this one looks fun too. There will be enough squares in this swap to make 2 twin size like this if you add a border.

Fading Charms is on Wedding Dress Blue site (free) and I have used it several times. The pattern and many others are presented in a tutorial format but easy to use. Have fun I also have made "Growing up Odd" and adjusted the pattern to 2.5 and made fewer blocks to avoid a massive quilt. Photo below.

LAF, I finished a fading charms quilt in turkey reds a couple of years ago. I used many charms from my birthday supply.

March candies are in the mail! With all the craziness going on in my life, I was very glad I still had one pack of candies left over from last year to send. Now I've got a bit of time to get caught up and start cutting for this year. My stash is all on shelves, but not organized and it's a bit of a mess.
