Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms on this beautiful day! I'm so very happy today, hubby made it home last evening, hadn't seen him since February! The kids are up to something, too. Should be an interesting day. Feeling very blessed & hope you are too!
hugs,
DJ

You can open your packages whenever you would like to. Some people wait until their birthday and then open them up all at one time. One year opened them up each day I received them and then made a 5 x 5 square out of my favorite from each envelope, then pinning their name to each square (quilt in progress )

Just have fun!

Hello everyone,

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there. Hope you are all doing okay.

Happy to see all the May packages coming in on time. Wouldn't that be great to have all 4 birthdays on time this month! Looks like it may just happen.

Thanks for all of the people who made masks! Can't believe how many you all made. I made about 20 and thought this is not fun...please no one need anymore.

****So do we know who sent the yellow envelope with the dragon on the label to Irishmom? Please let me know.

Also for the two ladies that received a package from" Yarn fairy" consider yourself lucky! That is not a person on my list. Sounds like someone is having some fun!

Hope everyone is feeling fine, some of you are getting your restrictions lifted or relaxed. Please stay safe!

Take care,
Barb

I found 2 more cards over the weekend when I was cleaning up the drop table. You know that place where everything ends up during the week? Usually it’s just bills and junk mail that my husband doesn’t know how to throw away on his own but there were two cards mixed in that he didn’t tell me about! So I’m not sure when they arrived but will add them to the list.

I believe the yellow envelope is WendyMcD - the "yarn fairy" I opened mine up to make sure, but she does have that as her signature line also.

Irishmom - do you have kele crossed off your list? she dropped out after Barb did up the printable list for us.

That leaves 24 participants, so we should get 23 envelopes. I'm excited to be opening mine soon!

BTW - we are having a Bday party for me at work tomorrow. It wasn't originally for my Bday, but it got planned for this week so we decided to combine. Going to use the big room so our small group has lots of room to spread out. I volunteered to make desserts, and I've got raspberry swirl cheesecake, Chocolate Sin cake (really dark chocolate) and pumpkin gooey bars. Not sure if I'll have time to make the chocolate peanut butter bars - will see how the rest of the afternoon goes.

I love baking and have not had much reason to do any for several months. DH like it cause he gets the "trimmings"
