Happy birthday, wesing!!! I love birthdays that fall on the weekends. I hope you have a great day with family and friends and relaxing! So sweet that your daughter opened up your candies with you. Now there is a little quilter!

Thank you friends. It has been a good day. Had breakfast with my two favorite ladies, went to a birthday party (for a 3 year old), had a Zoom meeting with my high school friends for a couple of hours, then spent some time on a boat with some friends from church. We are exhausted and I don’t think anyone will have to rock us to sleep tonight!

Hello everyone
Hope everyone had a nice Father's Day weekend.
I have sent the July addresses out so if there is nothing in your PM box from me please let me know.
June birthdays went well, all packages are to their rightful owner mostly on time! Yeah makes my job so much easier...thank you all !!!
I lost job back in March because of covid but will not be going back to my old job.... so I am again looking for a job. I hate looking for a job! Im too old to look for a job. Anyway since I have been off I have been taking some classes online ...Quickbooks so I will have so ammunition to put on a resume. I have been doing Quickbooks for two small companies part time (3-4hrs) week (still do) but I am self taught and I don't feel like I really know all the ins and outs of the program. Anyway I am enjoying what I am learning. Hopefully I will finish by the end of the summer (or sooner) so I can go out with confidence looking for a job.
And I am trying to keep up with my own quilt-a -long! Does anyone think it is going too fast? too slow??? let me know.
Barb

Barbara, I would like to get new steps on a regular predictable time. For what it is worth, I feel once a month is too long! My guild does that and I often forget and forget if I don't do that step right away. Once a week may be too much for you the creator and I know not everyone is free to quilt every day. But, honestly if once a month or once every couple of weeks works for you, then I will be a happy quilter.
I just joined another mystery using 2.5's and I actually ran out of the little darlings. But never fear. I had plenty of scraps to cut up to make a blue mystery. That mystery sends out directions twice a week so I will be busy, busy, busy! That make three mystery quilts in progress. This year has been a mystery. So, why not?

Barbara. Perhaps you could post a bonus step for anyone making a larger quilt. you could keep your standrad clues paced as is, but if it was clear enough, you could post something additional midway (for example "If making a queen, complete 4 additional 7x7" or something), that way the larger quilts could have something extra to work on, but the smaller quilts could still go at a nice steady pace. Just a thought
