Good evening. DJMat, I missed the mail carrier by minutes so your package will go out early next week.

My shoulder post surgery continues to improve but I'm still unable to sew anything. Looks like it will be early next year before I can give it a real try. I'm spending a couple of hours a day on rehabbing it but I'd rather be sewing though! Oh, well.

Have a pleasant rest of your weekend.

DH and I aren't planning on doing anything different this year from the last several years for Thanksgiving. We'll be spending it quietly at home, just the two of us with our cats. One of the reasons we moved to town (pop 2,000) last December, was so that we could have a bit more of a social life and that hasn't been possible this year. Well, maybe next year!

Getting excited about Dec 23rd!!! Thanks for letting me know you've mailed them early due to the Christmas rush, much obliged!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! Walt & I are doing the turkey & all the trimmings just for us two, going to freeze the leftovers for Christmas & so I don't have to cook on my birthday! I love the holiday season!
hugs,
dj

DJ what a good idea. I am doing the works for Thanksgiving for one. Tucking away some of the left-overs in the freezer for Christmas is a wonderful idea. I quite truly have not planned what I will do for Christmas yet. All of my family will be away, boo hoo, and all the activities I normally do are cancelled because of Covid.

Dh and I did a bit turkey dinner for Easter, and still have frozen turkey so we aren't doing that again. Though I did pull some out and made turkey pot pie last Sunday. And since DH needed some building supplies, we made a 2 hour one way trip to pick things up, and got some king crab legs so that is what we'll be having.

I have to work until about 2 today, and then I'm off until Monday - I'm so looking forward to lots of sewing and quilting time!

I plan on getting the Bday card and Christmas cards all mailed this weekend.
