For swapping blocks, I think this one will be easier since we have a limited color palette.
Based on the show-n-tell so far I am not use I would use the word "limited" with this group ;-)

I always amaze me the diversity that is shown by the board members

I changed my mind. I want to not participate in this swap. Have too much to do getting ready for a craft show.

Sorry to hear that, Mary. I've taken you off the list for BWB. Will you still be participating in the batik swap?

Yes, only because they are completed. I have become disgruntled by an email I received today. I have been working on different doll quilts and am enjoying them. And this keeps my mind off the loss of my friend. Sewing is a refuge. Sorry to get off of the subject.

I'm a very new member here but would love to participate in this swap. (I haven't learned my way around yet and don't know how to PM to the swap coordinator.) My block will be Crockett Cabin from Around the Block book.

I have been cutting my fabric for the swap and I am just not sold on the fabric combination I have picked out.

I am doing a snowball nine patch. My fabrics are below. The one that I am unsure of is the white with black print (long strip on right). It looks too busy. I am thinking that I would prefer a solid black in its place. What do you think?

    Thanks for your input ;)

IMHO black would make a very striking block.
