BLUE AND YELLOW BLOCK SWAP - Closed - Blocks are Made and In The Mail
#342
I never wash my fabrics, except for the rare occasion when a batik looks a little dodgy.
But because it's in the rules, I've begrudgingly washed the fabrics for the swaps I've been involved in through this board.
Begrudgingly no more! I threw the blue I'm planning on using in the machine, waited for it to fill then opened the lid to chuck some soap in and the water was a gorgeous shade of electric blue!! The fabric has run like you wouldn't believe!
I'm glad I didn't have the yellow in there too!

I'm so glad I haven't used this blue in anything yet. Funny thing is, I haven't used it because I love the colour so much I didn't want to "waste" it! lol
Won't be using it for this swap, will use another blue I think.

Now thats a job & a half if you can remember your a very lucky girl LOL. I usually ask for a card when I buy my fabrics & pop it back in with the fabrics after I've washed them LOL.
It's a senior moment thing LOL.
