Has anyone whos used the Angle play templates used solid colors for any blocks? ALL the blocks I have in both books show very bright colors and I was just wondering if they would work with solid colors? Havent had a chance to play with them lately but been looking at the books over and over!

JoanEliz, are you on Facebook? There is an angle play group there and they have lots of pictures of angle play blocks, some with solid fabric. They look great.
Margaret Miller, the inventor of Angle Play seems to think if you can use 5 fabrics in a quilt, you should use 105! So hers are often a wondrous riot of color! But truly, the blocks look great using brights, stripes, solids, Thimbleberries, 30's or civil war. Or whatever!

Thanks both of you! I want to try some of them as test blocks but Im not all into the "wild" colors even though they are VERY pretty together. I have looked at their facebook page but havent spent much time there. I see the "blocks of the month" they are doing now and they are pretty for sure..I hope someday to have time to "play" more with the templates but watching 4 grandkids for a couple of hours each night, plus working, plus other things takes away too much of my quilting time! LOL... Thanks for the help and suggestions always!

Heres the link on Facebook. You might have to "join" the group in order to see pictures but it gets me to their page.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/AnglePlay/ Hope it works for you!
