Boom blocks do get made into quilts (sometimes). This is a link to my Facebook Quilt Album. Several of them are boomerang quilts and others are just gifts I've made or charity donations. Supposedly, anyone can look at it whether or not you have a Facebook account. More will be added after Christmas, but can't risk someone spoiling their surprise by seeing a quilt ahead of time. Looking forward to the new Boom.

Boom 10 are the holiday ones. I have Thanksgiving and St. Pat's day done. Christmas is on my wall of shame. Easter and 4th of July are . . . somehwhere.

    I didn't make Boom 11 in time . . .

Boom 12 is Black white and yellow . . . on the wall of shame.

Boom 13 was the two flowered prints . . . one on the wall of shame . . . the other one . . . somewhere.

    SO, see I am organized.

In an RV my storage is limited. If I have UFO's then I don't have room for stash......and I love my stash!! All my past booms have been completed and given out. Will have to come up with the pictures as they were really great blocks. I didn't work today so got the blocks set on point - just need to make corner blocks.

My pieced curtain (made w/ thick upholstery fabric) is finished and hung.

The memory quilt I've been working on is completely together, just hemming and hand blanket stitching the perimeter and deciding whether or not to add the quilted stars.

Well here is the pieced curtain I've been working on all hung and in place. Love how it turned out, but don't want to sew upholstery fabric like quilting cotton ever again! lol

Catching up on the Boom Buzz....Kassaundra...that's what I love about hand-quilting...all the points line up so beautifully...nice work!

Blue...well......have you been in the stash yet? I sure hope so! These Booms are good for what ails ya', no matter what the circumstances....the number of blocks to be made is just right for "cruise control".....so get those F8"s ready and enjoy the holidays with us!

Janice....DH and I have lived with new and re-do construction in the house and I am proud to say our marriage survived it! There were a couple of close calls...but not having a stove and dishwasher for an extended period....seemed to take the "edge" off things for me.

KAT .....oh...my......I know you will be happy to get that queen Christmas Quilt off the "wall". Working here daily on this "king". Remind me never to make another king quilt! And especially when I am running my mouth about taking the UFO Challenge. Here is a photo of my progress so far. 25 blocks, 5 rows of 5 blocks - done - ready for 6 inch and 8 inch borders. The to the long arm next week! Keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well. Will be stitching binding down on Christmas Eve for sure

All kidding aside----this quilt is beautiful! Once I get the borders on it, I will try to get a better picture of the entire quilt top. Boom Squad...you have out done yourselves on this one....Thank you doesn't begin to express how I feel about this one!<3<3<3<3

Elizabrat! Haven't heard much buzzing from you.....haven't forgotten our side swap....coming in a mailbox near you!
