Ever have one of those days when you should just stay out of the sewing room? . That was my day. After really struggling to get LJ's block I mean really really fighting it. I decided sewing was not a good idea so I cut Bluelady's block out hey that was smooth lets try sewing........2 small seams done looked at the piece and knew it was wrong.......looked again measured it.....son of a batch of cookies! why is that 4.5 inch square measuring 4.5x4? noooooo I cut all 4 of them wrong? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! WELL HELL! so that is currently on time out till I can figure out what to do with it.

I didn't want to leave the quiet of my room so I cleaned it up and decided to clean my machine, guess what, while doing that I figured out why LJ's block gave me such fits...Apparently at some point I hit my needle over button and all my seams were just off enough to make everything wacked. which is why I had to redo absolutly every seam.

what a dope don't know why it didn't occur to me to check that earlier....

I need a drink.

I am calling blueladies flying geese, flying scissortail fly catchers since they are from Oklahoma, and that is our state bird. When you see the actual block you will understand. lol lol

Billi, (and anyone else) the cherry wine is chilling in the fridge, help yourself.

Billi what scrappy day for you. Hope tomorrow will be better

one if the few and far between gorgeous days here in Minnesota. Couple friends and I went garage sale: thrift store/ antique shopping in the morning. Afternoon was spent in the lake on our floats with adult beverages it was so nice I even took my jet ski out for the first ride of the season. Wonder if I will be stiff and sore in the morning
