GramE, please use either or both sides of my fabric...I think it would be an assume addition to the quilt.

dealing with a little water in the basement this morning....so thankful that it is only a little and not several inches of standing water like many others have to or have had to deal with this year and previous years.
some of my scraps and fallen out of the tote I had them in (overflowing) so I will wash the bigger pieces but I think I'll have to toss several small pieces .

Oh my. Flooded basements are a headache & a half! Hope you can save much of your stash. My totes are overflowing too, from me pawing through them looking for matches to boom fabrics! Keep you feet dry!

Mona we are supposed to have rain the next few days, sure hope it isn't headed your way. Ground is totally saturated here. Hope you have a dehumidifier and very little of your stash will be lost.

I started this for my granddaughter whos room is bright pink and lime green.. Her mom thinks it looks a little manly with the animals (she LOVES all animals)...does it look manly to you?? I only had the one white/pink/green block done. Don't want to make too many if shes not gonna like it. Have 24 of the different animal ones done. It looks orange but it IS bright pink!

I don't see "manly" at all. It looks like a child's fun, colorful quilt. Maybe get the granddaughter's opinion?

It looks like a great start to a cute quilt for her! I'd make it, and give it to your DGD. She will love it. Especially since it was made by you!!
