You are right Janice, as much as I want to, I better stick to my guns on where I am at, no rabbit trail for me. I need to focus on those UFOs that are sitting there. Have lots of fun everyone.

Looks like you are having fun in the kitchen, Terri. Once in a while hubby tries to get in and clean stuff as I use it while I am cooking... I have to tell him to go away, as he's in my way! He's great to do dishes by hand and clean up pots and stuff, just need him to wait til I'm done!

Love the Laurel Burch quilt, Billi. I love her graphics too. She died nearly 10 years ago and her stuff is as popular as ever. Such a shame she's gone.

I hope your schedule frees up a bit as there's still room. If you change your mind, let me know. I was under the gun so to speak In a couple of swaps and they weren't as much fun as when I allowed myself more time.

You'd hate to have me around when you bake. I'd be driving you up the wall.
you would not do well at our house, Janice. My DH never met a wall space he couldn't find something to put in it! Mostly bookcases.

And he says I'm the best mess maker ever! I might have to agree with him on that one! I have a kitchen waiting on me that looks like yours, Terri. I rolled out a large crockpot of chicken & dumplings today. Flour is every where. I had to do it in two batches because the recipient of the last pot of something has not returned said pot yet! He says he's bringing it tonight when he comes to get his dumplings. I wore an apron yesterday cooking the chicken, today a vest that is now a light shade of "dusted with flour". I think I'll take a nap before I tackle mine!

I guess when we don't sew, we cook!

Janice my 3 closest friends are all admitted neat and clean freaks. I have to balance them out. One of them even vacuums her carpet at an angle and the marks have to be showing at all times. Now that gives me the Hebbie jeebies. Already have dishwasher unloaded refilled and ready to go. Stove top is cleared off, veggies and dip are cleaned, cut and ready to go. Will finish off one counter and if I'm lucky dh will clear off the big mess. Good thing everything tastes so darn good.

I am not good at baby quilts I always seem to make the too big I often don't work with a full quilt pattern so they just end up the size they tell me thy need to be. This is probably the closest one to a "baby" size I have ever made.

While traveling this Year I found a Laurel Burch panel I fell in love with I bought 3 of them, and the awesome alphabet tossed fabric. The batiks mostly came from my stash. I love her designs I think she is one of the few designers that I would just buy every thing sight unseen and be thrilled with all of it.

So this is one Baby quilt down only 3 to go, well I have a cute baby girl quilt done and a Dr Seuss Lorax almost finished which next up on my design wall.

    Loving the great fabrics!
Terri - I'm kinda jealous of all that space to park "necessary items" and projects in work! But I would have it cluttered more than yours was with the baking. My sweetheart went back to Alabama Monday and took the two dogs with him. He's my dishwasher when he's here. Maybe now I can put the chips and dog treats away to uncover my table and get around to clearing my 3 feet of counter space. Yep. Living in a small house and loving it!
