Just sent a PM. Hope I am not too late.
Was just going through the posts from the last Boom I was in. Boom 11 slow & easy.
That was 3 years ago. I have moved in that time, and now have all my quilty stuff in one room, instead of a bit in each of 3 small bedrooms and the basement.
My new sewing room in the basement, and I am still getting organized. Some of my stash is still at a friend's studio, but it is almost all home now.

In the last Boom, I used blocks from Dear Jane, upsizing them to finish at 12". It worked out quite well for me, and I may do that again.

Thanks Terri! You're a girl after my own heart! I can't wait to see what you do with my stripe fabric.

Welcome back, Dungeonquilter. I'm just working on an email for you but rest assured, you've snagged the last open spot in the three month group! (That means from this point forward, anyone who emails me that they wish to join will be put on a waiting list in case a vacancy opens up.)

I finished cutting, pressing, starching my fabric today. It has a softer hand then I thought when I got it guess that is the risk when you fall in love w/ color and pattern first.

    Welcome Debra.

I like them both! Still having problems posting my fabric. Welcome to all Boomers new & old. Maybe I should have an
epidural, hurt my back in yoga.

Update on the epidural yesterday: No Back Pain today! Both sides were done this time (I have pain on both sides) and I'm already feeling great. They told me to take it easy and don't drive for 24 hours. Well, with all those steroids I couldn't sleep last night until about 4:30am. So I was up doing laundry, hand sewing a binding and label, giving myself a haircut and cleaning half the house! LOL. They tell you not to "do any work" and then pump you full of steroids. HA.
I am so glad to hear you're getting some relief finally! So steroids keep you up all night..... good to know. I can't wait for this boom to get started to see what you all come up with. I hope none of you have back pain again.

    Thanks, Ibex...

Sorry you hurt your back in yoga, Marija. Icepacks are your friend right now... and Ibuprophen if you can take it.

    Default Seasaw2mch :-(

I have sad news about a former Boomer. Many of you were lucky enough to participate in swaps with Seasaw2mch. You also probably know she has bravely fought a battle with cancer for many years. Just moments ago, I learned she passed away on June 19. I, for one, will deeply miss her.
