I'm about to the point of checking for what bonus blocks I can make too.... but I did make a point to try and use as much of the original fabric as I could in the blocks. So, for most of you there isn't enough left! I don't want to make a block with just a crumb of your fabric in it. I don't think that would be cohesive with your quilt!

I didn't make 1block, i made 12 more. You ladies can look on the other group but I try to make sure I have enough fabric that your material stands out if it doesn't then I don't make the block. Not sure sewbizgirl, but I think everyone's fabric has stood out. It has certainly challenged my thought process on making up my own blocks.

Hi ladies everyone has such beautiful blocks!! Love all mine. I will be off the computer for a week. Having hand surgery and can't use my hand for a few months, The good news is I have finished everyone's block!!!! I will have the surgery wed aug 16th.should be fine after I am all healed.

I hope you sail through the surgery and heal fast. I'll be thinking about you and I'll keep you in my prayers. On the bright side, someone can open your package of blocks for you when they come home. That always makes me feel better when I can start drooling over them.

I am sorry I haven't checked in. I dream of the day retirement comes. I have to say the blocks made this BOOM are just spectacular. I knew you could make something beautiful out of my "ugly" fabric and you have not disappointed. I have been reading the pages and all caught up. I should be able to post some photos tomorrow and I am working away bringing up the rear.
