Absolutely darling, H4B. So fun!
GramE, my prayers are with your daughter.
This weekend my niece flew in from CO. We just found out she is having a baby after years of trying. I decided to make her a quilt. I found the pattern on Craftsy. She loves dogs and cats and I wanted to get more comfortable with paper piecing.
This week it will be back to my blocks.

Ok, sorry for the silent treatment. We've had no power or wifi since 3:30am. We're too old for smart phones so it has been a difficult time to be off the grid. They began her surgery at 12:40. They expect 4-6 hr time frame.
thank you all for your prayers. We forgot about the eclipse because we had no power. I did get a text from Jason saying they had messaged him at the start of the surgery. He just sent a text saying she's still in surgery, so I'm guessing he's beginning to get anxious. He has a great imagination, he said he's not alone he has his imaginary friend Edgar to talk to!
Great quilt, Hav4Boys!

She out, awake & talking! They will be lucky if they can keep her in that bed for 3-4 days! Dr feels very good about the whole procedure. Hallelujah. Now, can she live with her mother in a motel room for a week? Time will tell. I'm making up lots of hand sewing (another Hunter's Star) to keep me busy when she isn't.
Thank you all!

My goodness! She's awake and talking. How wonderful. Will keep both of you in my thoughts. Many hugs.

God is good...your beautiful daughter looks great, GramE! Will pray for continued healing with no problems. Big hugs to you.
H4B, that doggie and kitty quilt is ADORABLE. Wonderful paper piecing. At least the pieces are big! It's super, super cute!
