Boom 20 - Quail 3 month group
#1584
I'm working on my Hummingbird blocks today. Just got them all sandwiched and ready to quilt, individually. They are so pretty... the Hummingbirders really did a knock out job on them. I feel a 'nudge' to get these together before the Quail blocks show up. Hope I can.

I envy you sewbiz, wish we would have waited and then I could have gone to quilt week too. Maybe next year.
It says it's 52 here, cold.....have the fireplace upstairs running and the pellet stove downstairs

Yes that is outside today and it is still snowing. I cuddled up under a couple of quilts and took a nice nap. Hubby declared it dumb movie day. We celebrated the snow with some delicious chili and watched a dumb movie. Trying to get the energy up to cut some binding

Here is what I have been working on this cold rainy day. The original fabric reminded me of the 70's in color and in print, so the inspiration is a beaded curtain from the 70's. There is a lot of clutter in this pic, since I'm in the design layout phase.

So far we have 13” of snow with 2 to 4” more expected. Most of our churches have even closed, a first that I can remember. And darn it’s supposed to stay cold and the white stuff is going to stick around for awhile.
Good day to stay in and sew
