I have always loved this setting. I think it brings all different blocks together in a cohesive way. I think this top is so stunning on its own that I would coordinate thread color using only white or maybe a blue in the large blue areas.

I took my boom blocks to work to take a group pic. Here they are w/ the side swap blocks and the ones I made w/ the boom fabric. (I hope I didn't leave anyone's out)

I see my block! Those are going to look great together, Kass. The colors all work well with each other.
I finished one of my Quail quilts (will have 2).

Hello Boomers, Looking forward to joining you again in the future. I've been ill with cocci since Oct. 2017. Hope to released by my Dr. in August 2018. Enjoyed looking at the fabric & quilts that have been made.

Sewbiz, I have to admit I didn't see your vision when you requested black fabric, but it turned out great. That sashing is perfect for these blocks.
