Kass I don't know how you do what you do. You constantly amaze me!
Stafar nice block for Sewbiz.
DHenson pretty block for GramE and really cute block for Stafar.
Bibliostone what a pretty block for Libster and I love the Micky block you made for Darcyshannon.

I made two more blocks yesterday. I hope to complete some more this weekend.
The first one is for Joanelizabay and is call Ruins of Jericho from Quilters Cache.

This second one is for Kassaundra. It is called Cherry Starburst #932 in the 1,000 Block book. The picture in the book was red and white, hence the name Cherry Starburst. I found this fabric in my stash and it had Kass's name written all over it. I hope you like it Kass.

Bibliostone - when I saw the block with the Disney fabric I thought of you - and it is so good. and you have another dramatic star - beautiful

Klaws- you picked a perfect fabric and pattern for Kass - Can you imagine what she would do with that fabric!

DHenson -GramE's quilt is going to be so soothing and feminine - great block. And Stafar - love the striped fabric and how it matches so well.

Kass - After a stressful day at work, I can imagine how calming your handwork is. Love it

Today is the Annual Shootout on Whiskey Row in Prescott put on by the Prescott Regulators and their Shady Ladies. Great fun!!

Thank you..I love the blocks in brown that everyone is making for me. Taking two to the quilters tomorrow. Another donation to the Patriot Guard Riders and another Quadrafoil...Working on "love/peace blocks from previous boom in between picking cactus thorns out of my hands...no matter if I wear gloves or dont touch the leaves I still get little thorns that you can hardley see. My barrell cactus bloomed for the first time today. Only last one day then they die but they are pretty. My aloe plants keep having babies...my nephew is wheelchair bound and likes to raise and sell veg at the farmers market so Im giving them to him to sell if he wants..Ill keep the 8 big ones for more babies.

Joan, your barrel cactus flower is beautiful. It's crazy that something so beautiful will last only a day. Good thing you didn't miss it and took a picture. Very cool. Aloe plants are nice to have on hand. I'm sure they will sell at the farmers market.

I just spent over an hour on the Quilters Cache site. That's easy to do as there are so many great patterns to look at. I'm going to take a dive into the paper-piecing blocks. No guarantees you'll see any in the near future, but definitely peaked my interest. Have a great day!!

I finished 3 blocks yesterday. Baby Bud from Quilters Cache for TG, Feng Shui Block #776 from 1000 Blocks for PamelaO, and from my new to me book, Once More Around the Block, Mosaic #8 for JayneW. I tweaked Pamela’s block a bit to accommodate a larger center block to showcase her focus fabric.

I ordered the 3rd book from Judy Hopkins Around the Block series and it arrived yesterday. Ordered used from Amazon, paid $13 (new was $30). This book is perfect. I can’t even tell it was used, execpt for one page had a sticky note with block measurements. These patterns are easy to follow.
