Hav4boys, thank you for the beautiful block you made for me. Your entire collection of blocks was a wonderful sight to see.
Kass, can't wait to see how you assemble the Elsa quilt.

Good morning, Boomers. I just came in from the damp but very clear morning. I watched the ISS transit again. She’s been making an appearance for several mornings in a row, twice this morning in fact. I wonder what the astronauts are doing today. Today’s a full day for me but I will post the most recent blocks in the gallery. Thank you to Hav4boys for working diligently to get them done on time. Woo, hoo! Also, I’ve emailed Billi again to remind her everything is due Saturday. I have no reason to think she’s reading them or listening to my phone messages, but I’ll keep it up. I’ll tell you, this situation makes me appreciate even more those of you who have fulfilled or are working to fulfill your obligation to the swap, especially when life has come up and thrown in a few obstacles. Speaking of that, has anyone heard from QM about how her surgery went? I believe it was on the 13th. Oh, I’ll also post today the list of who has sent what. Except for Billi, everyone has said blocks will be here on time. Double woo, hoo! Enjoy your day!

Finish the La Pass?????? lol lol lol No that is my hand work quilt I am still working on it but it will be a while. I have a niece who has 4 children (2 girls and 2 boys) The Elsa quilt is going to be for the oldest girl, I have enough Elsa fabric to make one for the youngest girl to it will be a different pattern. Then I am going to be working on the boys. I still have some pink blocks left from 2 previous booms I was going to make the girls quilts out of, but then I found this Elsa fabric on sale for $1.50 per yard and couldn't pass it up.

I have my first 4 dressie rings mostly finished. The first 3 rings are completely sewn, but I changed my mind for how I am going to assemble the whole quilt so the last one (the full standing Elsa) is only assembled in quarters that is why the pattern looks "off". I will unsew the other 3 into quarters before going on to the next step, but for now I have lots more rings to make. This pic is actually brighter white the flash washed out the colors some.

Sad part is I have made 1-3 blocks a week for hte entire swap. Just could not upload the pictures. New laptop did the job!
As for the next BOOM, I will be observing. Too much to get done. I have 3 weddings to sew the entire bridal party, 36 pairs of jammies to make for a friends daycare by Dec 15, and 3 quilts to do for Christmas. Life is busy and I love it.
