My second violet to bloom Rebel's Splatter Kake. I had to wait until the sun was out to take the picture b/c the flash and indoor lights kept turning the flower blue.

Kass, you have got the AV touch now! I've never seen one quite like that one. Beautiful! Whatever you're doing for them, they love it.

Joanelizbay, I agree with everyone else’s comments about giving quilting a try. You are doing a great job! Good for you for branching out and remember, done is better than perfect!

Kassaundra, wow on the cubes. . And the AV is beautiful. Clearly you have the right touch.

But it's so cold out there, and so comfy in my bed. Maybe just 10 more minutes....................................

I was thinking the same thing today JLB! I’ve been checking but no posts. My daughter-in-law Julieta’s mother passed away in the phillipines so she has been there the last 2 weeks. Be home Sunday night but we have had Myla, 2 year old, since then during the days when Daddy is working. It’s been so much fun but a little tiring for grandparents. Sure wouldn’t trade it though

I have been sick for a few weeks, not sure if it was a head cold / sinus infection from H*ll or the flu. I did get a flu shot this year, but know of a couple of others I work with that did get it and took this years quatro flu shot. I am still not well, but getting better and feel closer to alive then dead (that may be a slight hyperbole)
