This is the direction I am heading w/ the tie dye, do you think this would be appropriate for a young boy?

Oh, TG, I’m so sorry to hear about Annie. What a shocking and painful experience for her and all of you. I hope Annie fully recovers in body and spirit very soon.

TG please keep trying to contact Animal Control. There has to be laws about dogs and leashes. Happened to a friend of mine pit bull vs her pug and about killed him. She sued for vet bills and suffering but the city in Ky keeps putting it off because the pit bulls owner works for the city..She WONT let it go because he still lives next door and the dog still is there. Horrible pictures. If someone cant control an animal they shouldn't have one!! Im so sorry for Annie...hope she keeps improving!! Turn him in!!

TG,
I’m so sorry to hear about the attack. What a horrible experience! I have very small dogs and just can’t even imagine what you must be going through. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow! I am glad Annie is on the mend. I have a small dog and being attacked is unthinkable. I did take him to a dog park where I noticed an aggressive looking dog tracking him. I had my husband pick our dog up. The other dog actually jumped on my husband and growled. All the while, the dog owner was chatting on her cell phone and finally called her dog over without a single word to us.

This happened this year after we moved to Portland. I have not taken him to a dog park since.

It is a shame that the owner would be so inappropriated especially with the obvious injuries. I do hope it can be resolved and at least get reimbursement for medical care.

TG, what a horrible, frightening incident! So sorry it happened and your dog was hurt. I would be tempted to go looking for that dog and shoot it. At least, that's what I would want to do. Definitely take something like a baseball bat the next time you walk that neighborhood. I would file a police report, too. That owner is responsible for your vet bills and trauma, regardless of what animal control does to the animal.

Morning, Boomers. I hope everyone had a pleasant Christmas. We did. That both my sons could make it home was all I wanted. . We had a fun experience yesterday as a family. The four of us took a glass blowing class. After a safety lesson and some basic tips, we each made (with a lot of help from the instructor) a cup. My sons went with a wine glass shape while DH and I opted for a somewhat taller glass. It was so interesting! Our cups are cooling slowly so we can pick them up on Friday. Can’t wait to see the final products. I figured if the glass even vaguely resembled a cup, it’d be a success so I was thrilled. Great fun if you have the opportunity to try it.

Now that does sound like fun, Janice! I'm happy that your sons made it in for you.
Hope everybody's Christmas was all that you'd hoped for. I really enjoyed mine with all my family.
