Have a fun and safe Halloween. Here is my latest mini with pumpkins on blue background. A mini quilt made from the last exchange.

Yes. I did the pumpkins free form. I did draw lines to try to contain them in the border leaving space for binding and filler design. I added the Byzantine design after below them. I have been doing these minis to practice ruler work and new quilting designs. Also, I wanted some quick Halloween quilts and the minis are fun to put together.

Ha ha. I have now finished two quilts from last exchange.

I’m somewhere in rural KS with my son who’s visiting a patient. On the drive I’ve seen several barn quilts but wasn’t fast enough with the cell phone to capture images except for this one. I’m quessing the maker incorporated their initial into the center. The colors are primary and much prettier than this poor picture shows.

Hope I can get more pix.

Cool... "H" is actually a quilt block. I bet there are tons of quilters in those parts. Here, not so much.

Hey, the gallery looks great. Love the bigger pictures in the "completed quilts" section. Thank you, Janice.

Kass, I love your frozen quilts. The cube one is going to be really cool.
Sewbiz, so sorry for the loss of your friend.
Terri, your sister is lucky to have you by her side. Take good care of her.
Jaba, I know it is hard to really enjoy your family and the warm weather when you are sick. Please take care and hope you feel better.
Darcy, I am so pleased to see that you used the block that I made for you in the mini you made. I love the pumpkin quilting. Great job!
Janice, enjoy your visit with your sons. There is no better feeling than spending time with family.

Happy November everyone! Can't believe how fast this year has gone. I love reading the posts and keeping up with this thread. Kass & Darcy, your both doing such amazing things. Darcy, I love the quilting on your mini's. Those pumpkins are fantastic!! Jaba, sure hope you're feeling better soon. You've been through so much this year!!

Terri, continued prayers for your sister. It's nice she has you to lean on!! Sewbiz, so sad for the loss of your friend. I can certainly relate as I'm getting older, seems like someone I know dies way to often. And often, way too soon. I sure hope your friend lived a long, healthy life.

Janice, Family is everything!!! So glad you get to visit yours. Enjoy every moment.

Happy sewing everyone. Looking forward to more pictures of things you all are making. I need to post a few of mine.

Working on Frozen Cubes today. Figuring out the edge blocks. Planning on edge to edge cubes w/o any background.
