What a fabulous adventure, so happy for you that your dream is coming true! The packing and sorting will be the hard part....you may have a couple of garage sales in your future too

Congrats, Bluelady! You lucky lady! Wish we could all go to your sewing garage sale...
Hope your house sells when you want it to and all the moving goes smoothly. I have to laugh because when my husband and I moved to Louisiana from Maui, 33 years ago, all we brought with us was 10 big boxes of stuff! It all had to 'fly', so we got rid of all but the essentials. I had some really cool stuff over there... antiques and collectables... that I have always regretted letting go of.
Good luck on the new adventure, and please stay in touch and let us know how it's all going.

Ok ladies.. it is with mixed feelings that I must drop out of this next swap. I am sad that I will miss it.. BUT!! I got the job in Hawaii and will be moving to Oahu in July and selling my house in Puyallup and doing ohhh so many things my head is spinning!! I haven't moved in 20 years and i have so much junk and fabric and sewing machines and furniture and books and stuff to get rid of! I return home on Tuesday and will finalize the job the and start training at a local office and.......... packing.. and destashing.. This is almost overwhelming!
I am totally stoked at this opportunity for me, a dream coming true. but I cannot safely plan on getting blocks done timely for a boom right now. Once settled into my new life, I will be back!

We have another newbie signing up so maybe it’s time for everyone to do a brief introduction if you don’t mind. Please share a little about yourself and your quilting experience. Thanks!
Who will be first???

I'm a retired widow. I'm also a great-grandmother of 4, grandmother of 6 and mother of 3. I've been quilting for at least 30 years now. I started the Booms with swap 10. I love my Boom family. Whatever's needed, we hang together. You won't find a better hostess than Janice. She keeps us all in line and humming. This lady puts in a tremendous amount of time and work for us. We love chatter and pictures.
