Isn't he adorable?

Yes, he is! Beautiful quilt and I see my block. Perfect sashing design.

Great quilting on the sashings and love the peppermint twist fabric you used on the binding! Hi Marty!

That’s rough, Terriamn. Must be difficult to see her crying. Maybe she can plan a trip to visit you sometime soon. Will you be able to get together for the holidays? They may be kind of difficult for her to deal with this year.

Just saw a lovely quilt shop in Shawnee KS while I waited for my son to see another patient. Pretty shop. Not big but well organized and wonderful fabrics. It looked like they had a class for featherweight care going on. Prairie Points I believe it’s called. Worth a stop if you are ever in the area. I know I’m only 2 hours from MSQS but there’s no way to get up there during this short trip. Maybe next time. I hear that’s a day long event anyway.

My sister has 3 inside dogs and a cat. Doesn’t make it easy for her to travel. Thanksgiving and Christmas Day was spent with Vincent’s family ( including his ex who made a couple of insensitive comments to her at the funeral). She said that wouldn’t be happening again. Right now she just wants to play it by ear. Sister has 4 sons and 3 dil’s about 30 minutes away. Hoping they will continue to step up to the plate

With those pets it doesn’t make it easy to just jump in the car and go. Hopefully her sons will be attentive and understanding.
My menu is still tea and chicken noodle soup. I’m sure making the Kleenex company happy

Vincent's ex was included in the family holidays? Yuck. How awkward! Hope she can find another way to spend the holidays that is less stressful. So glad she has her kids and their families close by.

If we travel, we have to take the puppy,

so we don't go places together very often. He's a big boy and not everyone loves a big dog in the house. I think secretly, hubby likes to have a reason to stay home.

My pooch is medium size, 50 lbs. she shreds like crazy and loves to to hop on our hosts bed but rarely barks. My sister has one 6 pounds, 15 lbs, 30 pounds and all bark like crazy.

Marty weighs 81... he's a little bit porky. And he sheds a lot, too. That creeps my DIL out. I just love all of him.
