I’m another one who avoids this kind of block as the points seldom line up well enough. Thanks for the info Kass. Will give it a try again. And hav, I’m guessing you swirled the center as well? Looks like it.

Borrow away! It's made using the 36-Degree Double Wide Dresden Ruler by Me and My Sister Designs. There's an accompanying book that has several patterns in it. (I bought the book separately; I'm not sure if anybody has the ruler and book as a "package deal".) It's quickly becoming one of my favorite rulers.

The book has templates in it that can be traced or photocopied, so the ruler isn't absolutely critical, but it's worth the money (IMO) for the convenience.
