Lobster, I like both the R/B/W is so graphic. I have not seen the pieced flying geese before. Good way to add multiple colors.

I am so excited the Row-by_row 2018 has started. I am taking a time out from blocks on Saturday and a friend and I are going on a quilt store hop to get patterns for the RBR. I have family that have gotten me some and are mailing them to me. I thought they would be great projects wot work on while at the hospital with my MIL. We have our first oncology appointment on the 2nd.

Lovely blocks everyone are making. I love to see all the creativity.

Have fun on your Row by Row adventures, Hav4! I only bought one kit because I really loved it and will make it into a wall hanging all by itself. Are you planning on making a whole quilt for a prize? I did that two years ago and love my quilt.

Made a few blocks today... Here is one for Ibex94 called American Spirit. It's block #970 of the 1000 blocks. Hope this fills the bill, Ibex!

Great minds and all that, Sewbiz. I have some of that background fabric with the heart flags on it.

Turns out I was able to finish Coullmills’ second block before going out of town. Coullmills, I hope you like this one, too. It’s inspired by (not identical to) block 861 Square Crossing from the 1000 blocks.

Ok. Now I’m done for the week. I’ll be able to check in but probably won’t have my laptop to post blocks to the gallery. We’ll see. I’ll catch up on Sunday. Enjoy your weekend, Waves!

SBG,

I am going to make a quilt. I got a moose block from a store in Idaho and going to build around that. I like row by row because I can hand quilt them. I am really looking forward to it. If it is first and wins a prize, that is fine. [QUOTE=sewbizgirl;8083588]Have fun on your Row by Row adventures, Hav4!
