I like that strippy pumpkin, Jayne. Cute pattern.
Beautiful, Cheese. Your points are so precise!
Juana, thank you!
Yummy... you're right. Looks like the cream swirling around in a good coffee.

Cheesehead, thank you so much for the beautiful block you made for me. Another winner! Also, those for JayneW and Joanelizbay are lovely as well. And the one for Mona is terrific. Love the fussy cut fish.
Moonrise, wow! Each block is better than the next. My favorites have to be the dresdens, enough so that I'm going to buy the double dresden template. (I love that the boomers introduce me and everyone else to new ideas and goodies.) The turtles and the pumpkin are wonderful, not to mention all the rest you've posted.
Very patriotic feel to me, sbg.
Terriamn, those flying geese remind me of arrows. Perfect for a hunter's quilt.
...Here's Hav4Boys' second block. As soon as I saw the turtles, I remembered receiving a piece of "turtle/water"-looking fabric in a scrap bag from MSQC a few weeks ago. It almost looks like they're part of the same fabric line! Hope you like it.

Annt, pretty block for Jaba. This morning I’ve been doing a little sewing but my thread is suddenly breaking. I cleaned it all out but it may need a long overdue trip for service. I hope to finish sbg’s this morning and sew one other that’s cut up before my machine says enough. Luckily I have a little portable but I’m not as comfortable with it as it’s 1/4 seam eludes me often. It’ll be back to square one for me.

Here’s the block for sbg. There are two golds, both lightly metallic. I hope it will suit you. I dislike cutting up larger prints so I stuck with a block that showed more of the fabric intact.

I love this. The turtles are so fantastic. Thank you!
I thought she was referring to a block that someone else made, and that I must've overlooked in the thread.
Funny thing is, I didn't purposely cut them that way, but I noticed it when I was putting the block together. It's neat how things work out sometimes!

I ran to a Joann Fabrics in our area this morning looking for the fabric that GramE needs more of. I wasn't able to find hers but while looking through the fabric I found... Drumroll Please....Sloth Fabric!!! For those that are saying "I don't get it", there were 9 patch blocks made over at SBG's swap that had sloths on them and they were a huge hit. The gal at the cutting table looked at the fabric and said "sloths"? What ever will you do with this fabric?
