Pretty blocks Joan

i’ll probably be one of the last of the stragglers to tun in my blocks this time. Haven’t had much sewing time this summer. I did go through a bunch of the fabric and chose a block pattern to make. That will speed things up when the time comes to make the blocks

Oppressive heat warning for this afternoon, hopefully air will keep RV cool enough for me to cut a few blocks out

Terriamn, you know that you can use every single day of the swap to finish. Stay cool and relax in this heat. I made the mistake of taking the dogs for a walk later than normal and 20 minutes later, all three of us now just want to lie on the cool kitchen floor. Tomorrow I’ll go back to the sunrise walks. Foolish me.

My dog is totally spoiled by A/C too! He won't stay out long at all in this heat... maybe 10-15 minutes at most. He loves to run after dark, tho. Loves to harass the deer.

Here is my final Boom 21 block!! TaDa! It's a folded corners variation for JayneW.

Sewbiz both your last two blocks are great

This has been the strangest day, hubby went to town and there was a slight breeze. Returns 20 minutes later and the wind had switched to the opposite direction and was blowing like crazy. Sun was shining and it was horribly hot then sky totally clouded over and the heat wasn’t as bad. Wind has stayed out of the west but the sun and the clouds are really battling each other. Storms all around us but not a drop of rain here. Should be interesting to see what the evening brings.

Here's my last two blocks. First one is for Have4boys. It's a Crystal Star. Second one is for annt59. It's a Crystal Star variation. I'm going to miss making blocks now for a while.
But....I can go back to my magnolia/purple quilt from Boom 20 that I'm almost finished quilting on the blocks by Sewbiz' QAYG method. I only have 4 more of them to do before joining and binding. That one will be for my GGD, Joely. It will be her big girl quilt for her bed at Neenie and Poppy's. After that, I can start working on my 9 patch blocks. Always something to do!
Keep the blocks coming, Ladies! I do love to see what you're making!

Both of your stars are beautiful, Libster. Is that green grunge fabric with the turtles? It's great!

So we are both in the BooHoo Club, finished with our blocks. But, if Jaba was playing she would have finished hers two weeks ago. She's so fast! She always has her blocks made into a quilt first, too... LOL.
