Nice blocks, Coullmills. Glad you are having some cooler weather. I sew year round but we have air conditioning, so it’s always cool inside.

Good contingency plan, Janice. Makes sense. Can I add that if the blocks come back in pieces, the name of the block also be provided? If I got back 40 pieces I would never figure out what it was supposed to be without the name.

Coullmills thanks for my block. Churndash is a favorite of mine

Janice the only thing I might add is if the fat 1/8 is already cut up it would be nice if they wrote what block they were going to make with the pieces

If its my F8 fabric being returned Im all for it BUT...not sure how to say this but IF I made a block for someone and they didnt finish I dont want their block back..It wouldnt match anything I was working on and I would rather someone else have it to make a donation quilt or whatever they wanted to do with it.. But definately please include a pattern or name of the block cut out!

Thank you for that point of view. . I’m still hoping the blocks will show up. If they don’t, we can figure it out at that time.

I like joanelizbay's comment about the block being returned. It would be certainly ok with me to send to someone that would make a donation quilt out of it. That's a very cool idea!!

I second the donation quilt idea too.

I wrote that long post earlier because I’ve been getting questions, “what if” type questions and I figured others wanted to know the plan. Absolutely nothing is certain yet. My fingers are crossed that everyone turns in their blocks. Everyone. If not, I’ll let you all know. In the meantime, let’s go ahead and think as positively as possible and maybe we’ll be rewarded with full bags of completed blocks.

Here’s my 12 yo ufo.

It hardly looks much different than a pic from a week ago but this time it’s sewn together. I’m cutting the borders now. Hope to have a few on today. I’m not a fan of partial seams and mitered corners but I’ll get plenty of practice today. Lol.
