Done but it needs to be squared up and pressed. I’ll use this setting again. Having done it once, I can say it’s actually fairly easy and quick. Once I figured out my error, I flew through it. Colors are way off. Will ask dh to take a pic outside tomorrow.

Thanks Jayne, and I will be pleased to share the grandmother experience with you!

Thanks Libster, and others who commented on the sweater! I’m a little bit proud of it, myself. I haven’t knit anything like that in several years and wasn’t sure I could do it justice... but it came right back to me, just like riding a bike. The yarn for the second one came in the mail today...

Great quilt, Janice. It’s such a pretty setting. You sure can’t tell you had any problems with those blocks.

I finished the sweater for my daughter's baby. She picked out this pattern about 6 years ago, and I told her I'd make it for her if she ever had a baby. We don't know the gender yet, but she says she will put it on either a girl or a boy.

I know it is giving you fits but it really is lovely, and you are doing a good job disguising it's shortcomings.

It hardly looks much different than a pic from a week ago but this time it’s sewn together. I’m cutting the borders now. Hope to have a few on today. I’m not a fan of partial seams and mitered corners but I’ll get plenty of practice today. Lol.

Great job and this setting is just awesome. What size did it end up being?

Janice, in the gallery you have this block noted as being made by me, I wish I could take credit for this awesome block but it is Ibex's handy work. post #920.

And I agree, the blocks everyone is posting are great. I'm glad I got to do some piecing this weekend. I've managed to misplace the name tag for this fabric ... another paper pieced block from my quilting a day calendar named "July Skies". Once I figure out who's it is, I'll clarify. I suspect it is Quiltermomma's..... Not sure. I'll post it now just cause I won't be posting again until next weekend.
