Terriamn, here’s my second block for you. It’s Floating Tiles from the 1000 Blocks book.

The batik peach matches the bows and one of the dresses. The colors aren’t accurate in this shot. Hope you’ll like it.

I finally got the last three done. Thanks Janice for the extra piece...Sorry to say Im done..this boom has been a lot of fun. Ill be checking in to see everyones progress.

I swear if I ever have to go have a dental impression made again Ill just do without!! Broke my denture and the "extra" one I had felt like a piece of wood so went to get a new upper today..I absolutely hate that goop they put in the little tray then slam in your mouth to make an impression. thought I was going to gag to death. Those 8 minutes felt like hours!! Hopefully it was good so I dont have to do it again!

Sew I love the little embrodery you did!! One of these days Ill get time to play with it more than I have and learn how to make cute things! These are for JayneW, Janice and Coullmills.

I know! I have a hard time finding mine, too... but like Janice I use the gallery. It's such a great resource!

Very pretty block Janice, and you pulled out a color from the print that I never would have thought of! It's perfect.

Beautiful blocks, Joan! It is sad to be "done".... There's a feeling of accomplishment, but also, sadness that there's no more to play with. I love to see what everyone posts every day, tho.

I didn't do any embroidery... maybe you meant Terri's embroidery jellyfish that I commented on? So cute!

Sorry about your traumatic dental appt. today. I can totally relate. While I was going to the dental school my student dentist had to take impressions, and she kept getting a bubble in the mold! She had to redo twice so I got to sit through that ordeal 3 times! I wanted to bolt for the door! Just not fun, even once.

Today I've been playing with paisleys in my quilting. I made a "Hippie Quilt" with squares of bright batiks set on point. The paisleys are making it really psychedelic!

Glad you like it, Terriamn. The batik is one of my favorites and I’m getting down to the last of it now.

Cheese, thanks. I’m also at the point of about 5 or 6 to go I believe and I’m beginning to drag them out. I’m always anxious to start but loath to end.

This morning was devoted to finding a new washing machine. Mine died yesterday and it’ll cost more to fix it than to replace it. Grrr. I like my old machine but it’s time has probably to an end. Oh, well.

One more block today and this one is for Hav4Boys. The picture quality is yucky, the fabric I used to coordinate with her block is more aqua and looks like the top of a swimming pool. In the picture it looks like it needs to be chlorinated.
