Ladies, I’m very sorry to report that I’ve just learned Joanelizbay died very unexpectedly on January 29. For those of you who saw my post just minutes ago, now deleted, I said I’d emailed her. I only thought to google her name after posting. I found her obituary. I’m heartbroken as I know many long time Boomers will be as well. So sad.

I am completely heartbroken to learn about Joan. I feel like I've lost a family member. I just hope it was quick and painless for her. Her passing leaves a big hole in our Boom family.
Janice, are there any plans yet for what we can do with her blocks?

I can't even begin to describe how I am feeling at this moment to learn of Joan's passing. It's so sad, Joan and I were the same age, I just can't believe she is no longer with us.

I got one block done so far. I need to get the binding done on the 4th baby quilt today so I might not get another boom block done but I have another one cut out.
