I just saw that my congratulations post and best wishes for your DIL were deleting somehow overnight. A huge Congratulations on little Hendrix!!! He has such a darling face! Hopefully Mama is doing better now too.

Zozee, I'm so sorry you lost a friend so suddenly and from the flu! Whatever flu virus is going around is brutal! My DH's aunt's husband died unexpectedly from it too this past week. Aunt went to work in the morning, leaving her husband at home. He wasn't feeling well and was going to visit the doctor later in the day. When Aunt came home, she found him cold dead on the sofa. He never made it to the doctor. I never meet him, as they live in Holland, but the family is in shock too.

Sorry for your loss too, Zozee. I think there are several flu viruses circulating. One 90YO man who comes to the gym where I work was out for about a week and told me they said he had the flu. He didn't feel any worse than a cold with sore throat, and got over it in about 3 days. Very mild flu. Being 90, I'm glad he didn't get a worse flu.
