Cheesehead, your block and fabrics are beautiful and Kass’ block too! Ladies, you all have so much talent I can’t wait to participate with and learn from y’all!
Happy Saturday!

Here are my two fabrics. The orangey one is a repeat with an extra purple fabric to go with it. 15 of you will get that. The second fabric is the wild one on the left, four of you will get that.
anyone else besides Kass like to work with repeats? I can make sure you get the repeat. I put Kassaundras name on one of them as I bought the fabric with her in mind.
Im looking forward to getting my hands on your fabric.

Re the hippie quilt: It was Moonwork42029’s fabric, in Boom 17 topaz. I can not locate a final picture of the quilt so I don’t know if she ever completed it. The blocks were wonderful and her fabrics were perfect! Kass’s Block was terrific but there were several others that stood out as well. The two VW bugs and the woman in silhouette, made by Seasaw2mch. What wonderful blocks she made! Still miss her.
If you want to sift through the swap posts, you’ll find it here:

Edited to add: I just opened up the Boom 17 Topaz gallery if anyone is interested in the blocks all together. Enjoy.

Thanks for opening up boom 17 gallery. As a newbie it’s interesting to see the blocks from a previous boom. Lots more applique in that boom. I love applique, I need to work on becoming a better appliquer.

Directing fabric!
For those of you planning to direct a fabric to a specific person, please make it impossible for me to miss the person’s name. I can tell you just go through the f8s in the order in which they come out of the bag. I do not look at each one to find names. Separate them in some way, make them stand out or they will not get to the person for whom you intend them!

I had to clean up my quilting area today and basically close it down. New windows go in throughout the house beginning Monday and I had to move everything near the windows to protect the items. That includes my sewing cabinet and many related items. After that, I went through some old stash, in particular a bunch of Christmas fabrics I “inherited” from my former boss’s wife a decade ago. I have no idea what I’ll do with the blocks (table runners maybe?) but I’m pretty sure that’s what I’ll send. Decision finally made. Whew!

I really love how the Abby Road block turned out, and Janice is absolutely right Boomers went above and beyond on those blocks specifically, some really amazing work went into those blocks by everyone, you can tell we had fun w/ that theme. I have not seen any pics of it completed.
MJP, awesome I will have fun w/ those fussy cuts.
CH I never mind when people post pics of any of my blocks, I am not "territorial" about them at all, I love sharing them as much as making them.
