I hadn't hear of these either but I did a search and found a website that tells you how they are made. Hope this link works: http://www.mamasmiles.com/sewing-tut...nsory-blanket/

[QUOTE=moonrise;7641073]Ohio Star for Seasaw2mch. I love your fabric. I so wanted to make a watermelon! It has "seeds" and everything!

Nice block, you could have done the watermelom to because I always think about that when I see that fabric. LOL

Thanks, y'all!

Here's LJDugas's block ... D9P. I tried to fussy-cut the corner pieces. The gray is a teensy, teensy bit darker in person, at least on my screen. The camera flash washed it out.

ok I wanted to tell you all that if you don't see me for a few days, I'm sort of laid up again.

Being so excited that I could finally sew and do other things, I over did it a bit and dislocated my leg. Popped it out of joint and couldn't stand or walk on it for the past 3 days but the good news is that the chiropractor put it back in place today and well it's still very sore so I will be doing bed rest for a few days. He told me to stop picking up those heavy fabric totes or he's going to tell DH to hide them from me. I told him that would mean war! but I understand he's just trying to keep me from hurting myself so I will behave for a few days at least.

I still have plenty of ideas to look over for the next blocks so I can keep myself busy with that. I'll check back in when I can but for now I can't sit up to much because my buttock hurts to do so. The muscles in that leg need some down time so they can recoup from all the adjustments he had to do to get it back in place. Gee no one ever said getting old would cause so many issues. I want a time machine!!!!

Seasaw2mch, sorry you're out of commission for a while. That sounds like a BIG ouch! Just follow your doctor's orders and get better. Feel better fast. ((((((Hugs))))))

Here's Bibliostone's block. Wish I knew the name of it. I found it on Pinterest. What pretty and unusual fabric!

Moon, I'm going to say this is your signature block! I'm so glad I'm going to have one in my quilt too.
