A long day of sewing and unsewing and sewing...Bibliostone - first let me tell you about your gray (or is it grey??) Didn't have any light gray or silver. I had gotten this beautiful mottled medium grey wide backing for a previous quilt so had leftovers. Took a strip and put it outside in a pail with bleach. Nothing happened. All day!! Went to Quilt store and got me some light gray/silver!! No problem!! Decided on the Lone Starburst for your fabric and love how the lite gray brings it out.
Moonrise - when I saw your fabric I knew I had to do curves. Found the pattern - Scadi Windmill - and revised it for your spoked circle . It is a circle!! Took me four tries just to get the color right.
Have two blocks cut out for handsewing. Fishing around for other patterns!

Sat out and sewed simple straight lines, hard to concentrate and swat at flies

Wow! I love it. I'm so loving how my $3 a yard fabric is turning out!

Great view. Will have to get a screened porch. We have a screened tent that I use sometimes - when humidity allows!! But then people stop and talk and I never get anything done!!

Thank you NanaKathy - I see my leaves falling. So glad I don't have to rake them up

TG, if dh was here we would have put up screen tent but really need two of us . Only 2 campers after us and usually only 1 or 2 other people here in the entire campground during the week. Sometimes I go 2 or 3 days without seeing anyone

It came out beautiful! Thank you! I do love that red fabric and what everyone had done with it!
