Hi guys. Just a quick clarification, the fabric I included can be used but it doesn’t have to be. Any color that you think matches and keeps the read of the block on the “light” side is great. Here is a picture of the fabric that is going to make the “dark” blocks with for an alternating block quilt.

I was excited about this sparkly material when you first posted it. I had a stiletto heel shoe pattern tucked away just for it. Then I read your note - and I have a soft spot for the Shriners. So I changed it up - and put on a purse for a pocket for her. I didn't sew the button on - it will be in the pocket for you to do after quilting. I hope the pocket won't make an issue in quilting it - but I couldn't resist. The purse handles are sparkly silver. Enjoy

TG, your block for Hav4boys is inspired! Love it!

I also finished Hav's but mine is, as always, more traditional. It's a Goshen star with three colors. Hav, I hope you'll be happy with it.

The background is white but it shows up more cream in the photo.

I have been working on the summer block swap quilt top. The reason I’m including it here is the quilt includes two boom blocks. Were these blocks yours? I wrote about making this quilt top in this post Quilt layout for non-matching summer blocks?
now I can start on the boom blocks.

I love my block, It's perfect. Thank you. All the blocks are looking great.

Travelinggramma, that pocket on the block is great. Thinking outside the box. I love it.
