I recognize the two boom blocks by the flip flop fabric. Neither block is mine, but I saw mine in the boom quilt you posted a while back. Your quilt is very happy, and summery. I see you went w/ plain sashing to built all the sizes to the same. (from the other thread)
I have been working on the summer block swap quilt top. The reason I’m including it here is the quilt includes two boom blocks. Were these blocks yours? I wrote about making this quilt top in this post Quilt layout for non-matching summer blocks?
now I can start on the boom blocks.

the blocks coming out are amazing. They are inspiring to me. The points are perfect. The color choices blend well. I’m learning all about new patterns. Some of them I think I could do! It’s great to see the beautiful blocks from the newbies Mrs. Merkle. Janice I’ve never been in a swap when you were able to participate. Your blocks are amazing.
Hav4boys these blocks do go together very well. I think I may have to rethink what I’m going to do with that fabric.
Kassaundra I love watching the process you go through to get to your blocks. You’ve inspired me to try similar methods, on a beginner level. Your blocks are so artistic, original and perfectly pierced.
Nanakathy I’m thinking of you and your daugter. Let us know how she is.

Terri's block is on hold until I get to the fabric store for the orange fabric, but I have mocked it up w/ paper and am pleased w/ how it looks.
So I am now working on Klaw's, b/w/g which seems very modern to me, so I am working on a very modern illusion block. Drawing the pattern out has been obnoxious, but that way the confusing errors were made on paper not fabric.

MJP your summer quilt is beautiful, I enjoy a quilt that keeps the eye's moving as your quilt does!
Such pretty finished blocks being posted, always so much fun to see everyone's creativity.

Wow! Kass, Your creativity is amazing. I'm trying to make my simple blocks as accurate as possible but someday, someday I'm going to move into your wonderful creative arena Beautiful block! And I can imagine how you'd like this one to 'get lost in the mail'!

Making the simple ones accurate is exactly how to start, you will get there, just don't be afraid to try new skills.
