Making oversized is part of the problem w/ points to the outer edge being to close. I will make some blocks oversize and trim back, but not one that has points to the outside

I have to give myself today and tomorrow yet before I can start Wednesday look out. I haven't decided on how I am going to go but I have a plan. Time will tell if I proceed with what I am thinking.

I'm excited to get my fabrics!

Beautiful blocks Sewbizgirl! Love the Red!

Kassandra, excellent choice for Pam's fabric! She's going to love it!

Sorry to hear about your struggles Janice. I hope things get better for you.

The scant 1/4" seams we sew can be the problem. You really need the full 1/4" seam to make the points come out 1/4" from the edge of the block.

Yes absolutely,I hate scant 1/4 inch seams, and even when I use a pattern made by someone else I always redraw my own pattern so I know I can use 1/4 inch seams.

I'm jumping in here for a moment to admire the pretty blocks - Kass your Tinkerbell is spectacular! I'm cheering from the sidelines and waving my pom-poms for you all - looking forward to the block party!

Did the frog fabric not get sent? I picked an awesome pattern for it, but I did not get the fabric. Just checking. I believe it was Kass's.

Yes that is mine, I sent the solid blue fabric, I asked Janice to put the frog fabric in the pictures for a color reference. I am going to use the frogs in the finished quilt so was asking any of the colors in the frogs to be in the blocks.

I finished Bstone's block today. I like how it turned out. I could only use 8 of those 4 patches so I picked my least favorite to eliminate, hope it was your least favorite too.
