    Love them, Mona!

Here's a little friend I made for my GD. He's a baby sea turtle amigurumi.

Sewbiz - when do you have time for it all? Clothes, rounds, crochet, oh my!
I have a pile of completed quilts, with no more flimsies left! Put two more projects in bags (fabric along with pattern). I am using mostly my stash. But we had a shop hop here a few weeks ago and picked up some focus fabric that I could use with the oddball colors in my stash. I am now only working on my string QAYG which I started forever ago. The RR and the mystery candy quilt. Oh and a applique BOM with quilter group.
    I think thats it!!

Sounds like you have quite a bit going on yourself, TG! I have made so many lap sized afghans since the lockdown. I have stacks of them. I think I'll be giving most of them to the charity I quilt for. I do want them to be used. I had fun making them.

Sewing by day, crochet or knitting by night. It works.

Mona, I love the curved log cabin! And your pineapple quilt is coming along beautifully. Will enjoy seeing it when it’s done. SBG, I’m very sorry to hear about the fire but I am thrilled that the losses were confined to one room with no injuries. The what-ifs are practically unthinkable.

My boom 24 blocks are all quilted and I was able to get my sashing yesterday at a NC shop that allowed walk in traffic within limits and masks were required. I was happy to wear a mask just to peruse the fabrics for even a few minutes and quickly found what I wanted. Now to arrange the blocks and start putting the quilt together.

Hope you all are having a pleasant weekend.

Below is a pic of my Boom 24 quilt nearing completion. Woo hoo. I’ve got all the short vertical sashings on. Now to do the long horizontal ones and then the binding. I ended up using white for my sashing instead of the blue bc I want the blue for another project after all. Sheesh. That one is up next. I’ll take a final pic when it’s all done. Thank you all for your wonderful blocks. Every single one was 12 1/2 inches and all so pretty! Wow!

edited to add a recent grand pic. She’s about 7 1/2 months old now. Love her smile!

Quilt looks great, Janice, and the baby even greater! She's so big now and so cute. They change so fast.
