Sewbiz, my new kitty is doing good. I got her from a shelter and wish they would have checked her mouth and teeth. I took her to the vet and she had 2 broken teeth that needed to be extracted. I didn't expect to have such a high vet bill after only 5 months. But, she is worth is. She is not a Maine Coon but has the long fur of one. Thanks for asking.

Ahh what a sweet kitty

this is by far the worst pain I have experienced. Nurse goofed us up. He told Hubby pills every 6 hours but wrote out the schedule for every 7 hours. Once hubby realized it and I was able to catch up the pain went from non stop searing to maybe a 4 on the pain chart. Thank goodness for that and the wonderful way hubby has stepped up to the plate on caring for me. Feeling very fortunate

Julia hope your pain is totally tolerable and heal quickly.

I opened my package yesterday and all 19 are accounted for. Selecting fabrics and patterns today, hopefully will get some blocks finished this weekend.
Love all the blocks that are posted so far.

I just opened the bag of fabric that I received a few days ago and discovered I was unable to stand very long and came back to the computer for a minute before I go back and lay down. I am trying to do some hand piecing while I lay in bed. I wait with bated breath to dig into all these beautiful fabrics. I am thinking of choosing a single block that is the same for everyone. Of course that does not always work but trying.

Terriamn, Your husband is a gem. Sorry to hear your pain was so bad but here’s to hoping it remains well under control for the duration. Gentle hugs.

Staying home and away from crowds. Finished two blocks while watching Jamestown mini series
First for Klaws - dreseden flower - I cant imagine what Kassandra would have done with this fabric!
And the second for Bugaroo who loves anything snow! I was humming the Brady Bunch theme song while making this one!

I finally got my first block done. This is my first attempt at a Dresden plate, I have been admiring all your dresden plates over the years so decided it was time to jump in,had some issues but I'm happy with how it turned out. Juliasb I hope you like it too.

Having issues trying to add the photo, I'll try again later.
got it to work.
