Ok I am having a brain fade, is it a better use of fabric to measure down 18” from the top of fabric and sub cut that row into 11” pieces or is it better to cut an 11 row then sub cut it into 18” pieces

I generally measure down 18 inches, cut and then cut that piece into three 11 inch pieces, saving the fourth off sized piece for myself. But it’s however you can cut them to get size. If you have forty full inches or more across after prewashing and de-selvaging, you can cut them 18x10, but not a hair less than 10 inches please.

After a long debate...I still haven't put together the blocks from the last Boom... I'm in again! I just e-mailed my information Janice.

Now to dig through the stash and see what to send in!

Thanks Queenbarbiej. I had not found a site that has so many 12.5 inch blocks!

Default 10” width instead of 11” width

if I can only get 10” width I send 20” length instead of 18. I like to give a little extra in length if I can’t get the full 11” in. This isn’t a requirement. Btw for you mathletes. 10x20 gives 200 sq inches. For the 18x11 fabric it’s 198 sq inches.

I've updated my fabric swatches to allow for fat 1/8s instead of skinny 1/8s . The main fabric is still the teal with snowmen and the other colors will compliment.

Good luck everyone in selecting fabrics!

That's aok, just never anything below 10. I've been down this route and the pieces just end up getting smaller and smaller. 18 x 11 is preferred but down to 18x10 will be accepted.

Default Update...

Much to my surprise and pleasure, there have been multiple sign-ups in the past couple of hours. We will likely reach the goal of 20 people for the swap after all! If anyone else is interested, please get your name in now. I will take names in the order in which they come. If we go over 20, I will start a wait list in the event someone drops at the last minute. Thanks!
